This is a generic preinstalled image of i486 OPENSTEP 4.2 for Mach Patch 4 with Developer Tools, Turbolent's packages, and a couple of bare essentails.

This VM is configured for use in VirtualBox. The disk is in .vmdk format and should load fine in other hypervisors, but you'll need to rip out the drivers if you want to boot it.

Includes:
 - Working drivers for sound, video, mouse, and network
 - BusMasterIDE driver for near-SATA disk performance
 - Working networking (incremented IP address to 192.168.0.145, gateway 192.168.0.1)
 - Bumped RAM to 512 MB
 - OmniWeb
 - Opener
 - Updated zoneinfo for North American timezone changes + cron job every 30 minutes to sync clock
 - DNS set to 1.1.1.1
 - GKMouseScaler is still present but ignored by Y. Hayakawa's excellent VirtualBox mouse driver
 - Packages from Turbolent: bash, zsh, python, and more (cd into /me/Packages/openstep-pkg-main and run ./pkg as root if you want to try building quake2)
 - libnext and uname from rjbrown99

System name is 'capricorn'

Password for default account ('me') is 'password'

Password for root is 'password'

Remember you can log in via FTP or Telnet for file access (though VirtualBox requires you make an outgoing TCP connection from the VM first if the VM is waking up from a saved state)
