SegHoarker v.1.0.0 Author: Garrick Toubassi Compiled-4Fat-For-NeXTStep-By: Timothy J. Luoma Date: 11 Nov 1996 General Description: SegHoarker provides a front end to the two utilities segedit and otool. It allows users to examine MACH-O executables and extract .nib, .snd, .tiff, .eps, and others. These embedded files can also be replaced, allowing you to customize applications. *** Note from TjL *** Garrick has been nice enough to release a QuadFat version of one of the most handy Dev Tools in NeXTdom. This program remains free, but it remains the property of Garrick Toubassi. Permission is granted to redistribute the program as long as his name remains attached to it. This is the same version (1.0.0) that has been on the archives for NeXT-hardware only. Garrick has been nice enough to agree to make it available QuadFat for the less fortunate (ie those without access to a NeXT). "BUGS" These are not really bugs in SegHoarker, just things you should be aware of: - the "replace" function cannot be undone. Don't fiddle with it unless you know what you are doing.... or practice on a backup copy. - segedit and otool only come with the NS/developer - segedit (and I believe 'otool' as well) cannot perform its actions on MAB files.
