It was compiled using the following :

   CC=cc
   CFLAGS="-O2 -pipe -arch hppa -arch i486 -arch m68k -arch sparc -no-precomp"
   ./configure --prefix=/usr/local

The files/programs/libraries after a "make install" will go to :
  --> /usr/local/bin
  --> /usr/local/lib
  --> /usr/local/include
  --> /usr/local/man

During compilation no warnings/errors were issued.
