Alexandra.TiffPatch.s.tar.gz allows you to compile a modified version of Alexandra v.0.82 which is able to utilize MailTIFFs in /LocalLibrary/Images/People exactly the way Mail.app does. It uses the same format as Mail.app and also considers the aliases file. Just replace the original FaceView.m with the patched one and recompile.

If you don't want to recompile Alexandra by yourself, you may also get Alexandra.0.82.mod.NIHS.b.tar.gz, an already compiled version of the modified Alexandra.

Alexandra was modified for the NEXTTOYOU MailTIFFs database which consists of a set of programs to be installed on your computer and a global MailTIFFs server provided by NEXTTOYOU. It allows you to automatically administrate MailTIFFs from internet users and get their pictures displayed in Mail.app as well as newsreaders prepared for this mechanism. You may find the respecting programs in the archive MailTIFF.database.1.2.b.NIHS.tar.gz.

For those of you who are not able to understand German MailTIFF.database.1.2.b.NIHS.tar.gz contains brief installation instructions in English.
