This package contains the binary distribution of the GNU texinfo utilities.  
NOTES: 
 * .../info/dir is not overwritten; you have to create it yourself if it does not yet exist. (e.g. by copying .../info/dir-example.)
 * *.tex files are installed in .../lib/tex/macros/ -- this may or may not be appropriate for your TeX installation.
 * emacs-lisp (*.el) files are installed in .../lib/emacs/site-lisp/.
 * the installed man pages may be outdated.
