System Requirements The only requirement for the Simulation Kit is that the system is running NeXTSTEP 3.0. Installation Because of the diverse set of files included in the distribution, the Simulation Kit is delivered in a NeXT Installer package. The Installer will install the Simulation Kit relative to the root directory in the following locations: /NextDeveloper/Examples/SimulationKitÐexample source code /NextDeveloper/Headers/simkitÐheader and precompiled header files /(indexed) NextLibrary/Documentation/SimulationKitÐindexed /documentation usr/local/library/libsimkit.aÐobject library If you have reservations about installing the Simulation Kit in the default locations, you may edit the file SimulationKitDemo1.0.info located inside SimulationKitDemo1.0.pkg and change the Relocatable entry from NO to YES. You will then be prompted for a directory in which to install the Simulation Kit. It is suggested that should you override the default installation directory, you should install the package into a temporary directory such as /tmp, where you can move the individual folders to the desired locations.
