PasteboardVenue can act as both a multi-window desk top and 
a extended shelf.  It accepts and holds all forms of file 
and pasteboard information from other applications.  
PasteboardVenue removes the restrictions of earlier application 
launchers or desk tops by adding the ability to  manipulate and 
store copy/paste information without having to save it to disk.  
This information can originate from any of the NeXT interapplication 
mechanisms.  These include copy/paste, drag/drop, and services. 
PasteboardVenue  can appear as either a normal NeXTSTEP 
application with multiple windows, or as a desk top that hides behind
everything else while waiting to supply or receive information.
