USB Universal Host Controller Driver This package contains an expiring beta-levl driver for UHCI compatible USB Host Controllers. It allows USB device drivers to communicate with the USB devices in a hardware-independent fashion. In order to prevent bug-ridden beta versions from proliferating, this beta version will expire in April 2001. This is a beta level driver and contains known bugs. Since it is running at the kernel level, there is the possibility that extensive file damage could result. The worst case I have personally encountered is a system panic in which the system locked up solidly. I have never experienced a data loss, however the possibility does exist. Use this software at your own risk. Any problems, comments, or suggestions can be sent to me at my email address below. Thanks for your interest and support. Howard R.
